FAQs

What if my balm arrives melted?

Because our whipped tallow balm is made without synthetic stabilizers, it may melt during transit in warmer months. Don’t worry—it’s still completely safe and effective to use!

Here’s what you can do:

  • Let it come to room temperature: If it's melted or soft, place the balm in a cool, dry place and let it naturally firm up.
  • Speed things up: You can also pop it in the refrigerator for 10–15 minutes to help it solidify.
  • Re-whip (optional): If you'd like to restore the whipped texture, let the balm come to room temperature, then gently stir or re-whip it with a clean utensil.

Even if the texture changes, the nutritional and skincare benefits remain the same.

When do you ship orders?

We ship all orders at the beginning of the week to ensure your products don’t get stuck in a hot warehouse or postal facility over the weekend. This helps protect the integrity of our balms and ensures a fresher arrival! We also use 2-day shipping for quick delivery.

What should I do when my order arrives?

We strongly recommend opening your package immediately upon delivery. If your balm feels warm or appears melted, allow it to settle at room temperature before opening the jar to prevent spills.

Can I store my balm in the fridge?

Yes! Especially in the summer, you can store your balm in the refrigerator for a firmer texture. Some customers actually prefer applying it cool for an extra refreshing feel.

Is the balm still good if it looks different after shipping?

Yes! Texture may vary based on temperature during shipping, but the quality and benefits of the ingredients are not affected. Our grass-fed, local tallow is naturally rich in nutrients and remains just as nourishing even if melted and re-solidified.
